Hyun Soo "Kevin" Jang, M.D. received his B.S. in biomedical engineering from the Johns Hopkins University in 2013, and his M.D. from the University of California, Irvine in 2018. Following that he completed his internship in internal medicine and residency in ophthalmology at the University of Arizona, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Jang joined Bay Eye Clinic in 2022 to practice comprehensive ophthalmology with special interest in cataract surgery and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery.

Dr. Jang has been recognized for his academic and clinical excellence, receiving multiple honors throughout his training. Dr. Jang has published and presented numerous research abstracts and papers, contributing to the field of ophthalmology. He was involved in landmark clinical trials in the treatment of diabetic macular edema, retinal vein occlusion, and age-related macular degeneration. His later research interests included minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and corneal crosslinking for keratoconus.

In his free time, Dr. Jang enjoys playing the guitar, piano, and video games. He also enjoys hiking and traveling with his wife, Cassandra, a pediatrician.
